McArthur students make waves at Hollywood wastewater treatment plant
Today, the Hollywood wastewater treatment plant hosted 18 students from McArthur High School as part of the Florida Graduates Program.
The students were given a behind-the-scenes look into the daily operations of the facility. They were also given the opportunity to work with several of the professionals there to gain an insight into what their jobs entail.
Commissioner Richard Blattner, who helped to spearhead the visit, was on hand to welcome the students.
