Hollywood Hills senior creates Francis Flyers program

Today, I visited Hallandale Elementary to see the students in the Francis Flyers program.

The program, created by Hollywood Hills senior Kayla O'Brien, raises awareness on blood cancers.

The students discuss different chapters in the book "Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes" while learning how to build their own cranes.
