Hollywood hosts CarFit event

The city's department of housing and community redevelopment hosted a CarFit event today at the Boulevard Heights Community Center.

CarFit is an educational program offered by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs’ Communities for a Lifetime program.

The program is designed to help older drivers improve the fit of their vehicles for safety and comfort. CarFit uses a team of trained volunteers to conduct a 12-point checklist of vehicles and recommend car adjustments.
