Hollywood will host a Wire Cutting Ceremony at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 1 in the ArtsPark at Young Circle.

This ceremony will celebrate the benefits of the Wireless Hollywood: Efficiency Through Innovation technology project and the creation of a free outdoor Wi-Fi system for the public to use within the city.

Interactive displays, including the new Police Mobile Command Vehicle, will be stationed on the ArtsPark plaza to demonstrate how this new wireless platform will improve the efficiency of numerous city departments, including public utilities, police, code enforcement and building.
