Business workshops set in Hallandale

The Palms of Hallandale Beach Weed and Seed, along with the Center for Technology, Enterprise and Development, are holding several workshops for those seeking to start or grow their small businesses.

The workshops will be at 6 p.m. Thursdays at the Austin Hepburn Community Center, 750 NW Eighth Ave.

The scheduled sessions are:
Oct. 1 - Business Law Refresher
Oct. 8 - Skills to Operate a Profitable Business
Oct. 15 - Accelerating Your Sales Performance
Oct. 22 - Marketing for Small Businesses
Oct. 29 - Obtaining Funding for Your Business

Businesses will receive individual counseling, referrals to financing and capital gaining leads, assistance in designing marketing materials and website development.

The workshops are free to all Hallandale business owners and residents.
