Food drive in Hollywood

Hollywood's parks department and the Kiwanis Club of Hollywood are hosting a food drive.

Non-perishable food items will be collected from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 at Kiwanis Park, 3400 Johnson St.

Drop-off boxes will also be available at city community centers and at City Hall, 2600 Hollywood Blvd.

At these locations, items can be donated from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18.

Community center locations are:
* Beverly Park Community Center, 6291 Funston St.
* Fred Lippman Multi-Purpose Center, 2030 Polk St.
* Boulevard Heights Community Center, 6770 Garfield St.
* Hollywood Beach Culture & Community Center, 1301 S. Ocean Drive
* David Park Community Center, 108 N. 33rd Court
* McNicol Community Center, 1411 S. 28th Ave.
* Driftwood Community Center, 3000 N. 69th Ave.
* Washington Park Community Center, 5199 Pembroke Road
* Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, 2400 Charleston Street
