Golf tournament for Hollywood resident

100_0649a.JPG

Today I met Rachelle Porter, a Hollywood resident who has been diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme.

This is an extremely aggressive form of brain cancer which was highlighted most recently with the diagnosis in Sen. Ted Kennedy.

She and her family are fighting a courageous battle and are seeking options to pay for her treatment.

A golf tournament to help fund her medical costs is set for 11:30 a.m. Oct. 17 at Colony West Country Club, 6800 NW 88th Ave. in Tamarac.

For more information, call 954-445-8148. To learn more about her story, click here.
