Prostate cancer awareness event set in Hallandale

A prostate cancer awareness event is set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at the Austin Hepburn Community Center, 750 NW Eighth Ave.

The event will include free private screening exams, prostate cancer presentations, health care services information booths and door prizes.

Free refreshments will be served from 9 to 10 a.m. For more information, call 954-457-1460.
