Recycling drop-off event set in Hollywood

Broward County, in partnership with the city of Hollywood, is hosting a Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling Drop-Off-Event next month.

Items will be collected from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6 at the Anne Kolb Nature Center, 751 Sheridan St.

Broward residents may drop off household hazardous waste and electronics for free, such as paint, motor oil, pesticides, cell phones, household cleaners, lawn and pool chemicals, mercury thermometers, televisions, computers, monitors, CFL bulbs, auto batteries, and more.

Proof of Broward residency is required.
