Hollywood celebrates National Dump the Pump Day

On Thursday, June 21, Hollywood is joining cities across the United States to celebrate National Dump the Pump Day.

The event encourages commuters to ride transit for the day and help promote the cost savings and ease of riding public transit.

South Florida’s transit agencies have teamed up to promote National Dump the Pump Day by having commuters visit www.1800234RIDE.com to make a pledge to ride public transportation on June 21 and be automatically entered to win a free monthly pass on either Broward County Transit, Miami-Dade Transit, Palm Tran or Tri-Rail.
