childrens_hands_1.jpg

Broward League of Cities Bobby Dubose has issued the group’s first volunteer challenge to encourage county residents to complete 1 million volunteer service hours by May 31, 2013.

To participate in the challenge or for more information, log onto Browardleague.org/volunteerchallenge. The Web page features a barometer to show the county's progress and how many hours are needed to reach the goal. Residents can participate in any volunteer project of their choice.
