Hollywood to host Honor, Courage, Commitment 5K

Hollywood beach will set the stage for the Honor, Courage, Commitment 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, Oct. 12. The event will be at Charnow Park, 300 Connecticut St.

Presented by the Navy League of the United States' Fort Lauderdale Council, the race will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and the Fort Lauderdale Sea Cadets.

The race begins at 7:30 a.m. Cost of registration is $25 in advance or $35 on the day of the race. For active duty military members, it's $5. Registration closes Friday, Oct. 11.
