Hallandale celebrates Black History Month

Hallandale Beach is planning a celebration of February as Black History Month. The city will have its annual Picnic in the Park on Saturday, Feb. 15.

The event, which runs from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., will also feature the Junkaroo Band and will be at Foster Park, 609 NW Sixth St. It is free and open to the public.
