Miramar offers free Easter egg hunt at Forzano Park

Miramar children can get a jump on Easter activities with a free egg hunt.

The event will take place at 9:30 a.m. March 28 at Forzano Park, 2001 Douglas Road. A costumed Peter Cottontail will arrive by fire truck to greet children. At 10 a.m., the hunt will begin for the more than 12,000 eggs scattered across the park. The event is open to children 12 and younger. Children who find specially marked eggs will receive prizes. Parents should bring a basket or bag for their children to collect eggs in.
