Pembroke Pines plans meeting for community garden

Pembroke Pines will be hosting an organizational meeting for its new community garden.

The meeting starts at 10 a.m. Feb. 4 at the community garden, located just south of City Hall, 10100 Pines Blvd. The meeting will provide information, register residents who wish to participate and discuss a schedule for crops. Residents can sign up to rent plots of various sizes or pay for a general membership to participate with the garden's maintenance efforts.
