Early voting underway in Pompano Beach

For residents wishing to exercise their democratic right prior to the Tuesday election, early voting recently started at 17 sites in Broward County.
The Pompano Beach Library, 1213 E. Atlantic Blvd. will be the only location in Pompano offering early voting.
One of the advantages of early voting is that participants can vote at any of the designated sites.
Along with choosing a president, voters will decide members of Congress, state Legislature and local offices.
Early voting is encouraged so long lines Election Day on Tuesday can be avoided.
Early voting hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays. The last day to vote early is Sunday.
For more information, call the Supervisor of Elections Office at 954-357-7050.
