In Pompano Beach, five small lodgings were recently recognized for their excellence in maintaining clean living environments for visitors.

The five 2009 Superior Small Lodgings White Glove winners are: Bahama Beach Club, Cottages by the Ocean, Pineapple Place, the Pelican PlaceŠall, and the Dolphin Apartment Motel.

All five scored 100 percent during surprise inspections administered locally by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau.
