Pompano Beach to teach pee wee cheerleading

The basics of cheerleading and tumbling will be featured in a program offered by Pompano Beach.

The classes are for girls ages 3 to 5 and will begin at 6 p.m. Sept. 10 at Community Park, 2001 NE 10th St. The program will last for six weeks and will be held every Thursday.

Registration is ongoing at the Emma Lou Olson Center, 1801 NE Sixth St. and costs $45 for residents and $90 for nonresidents. All participants will cheer at a Pompano Tigers football game. For more information, call 954-786-4119.
