Pompano Beach-Lighthouse Rotary Club starts new ‘Rotary’ year

To kickoff the start of the 2009-2010 Rotary year, the Pompano Beach-Lighthouse Rotary Club recently held their Awards and Installation Banquet at East Fusion Buffet in Coral Springs.

At the ceremony, various projects organized last year were recognized, including adding three new members, various service projects with Charles Drew Elementary in Pompano Beach, the SOS Children's Village, Tomorrow’s Rainbow, Paralyzed Veterans Association of Florida, and the Boys & Girls Club of Pompano Beach. The club also donated 567 pair of socks to the Broward Outreach Center in Pompano Beach.

For more information about the Rotary, call Bill Zobus at 954-972-7178.
