Beginning Sept. 8, Pompano Beach’s Parks and Recreational Department will be offering children’s dance classes. The classes are for children ages 3 to 17. Registration lasts from 4 to 7 p.m. Aug. 17 at the Emma Lou Olson Civic Center, 1801 NE Sixth St.

Different forms of classes include ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical. Monthly tuition is $30 and the first month’s tuition and registration fee is due at registration. For more information, call 954-786-4111.
