Boys & Girls Club to host ‘Racing Night at the Isle’

Everyday, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County helps mentor and develop children through various programs and events. To help improve its mission of improving children’s lives, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County is hosting the first ‘Racing Night at the Isle.’

From 6 to 10 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Isle Casino, 777 Isle of Capri Circle, the club will host the free racing night, which will feature former Miami Dolphin Keith Sims and Pompano Beach Mayor Lamar Fisher squaring off as two of seven racers to participate in a charity sponsored bounce horse race on the track after the fourth race on the racing program, which begins at 7:05 p.m.

In addition to the racing, there will also be free face painting, magicians, live music, a raffle, a silent sports auction and a classic car show with all proceeds benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.

Sponsorships are available as well as tickets to a VIP party in the evening. For more information, call Matt Organ or Megan Johansen of the Boys & Girls Clubs at 954-537-1010.
