Highlands Civic Improvement Association to discuss home foreclosure prevention

At its next meeting, the Pompano Beach Highlands Civic Improvement Association will focus on home foreclosure prevention.

The meeting will cover how to refinance loans, the current state of the mortgage market and the reasons why homes are foreclosured on. Experts in law, real estate and finance will be on-hand to share their knowledge on foreclosures. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. Oct. 6 at Pompano Beach Highlands Park, 1650 NE 50th Court and is free and open to all residents. For more information, call 954-933-6393.
