To help raise money for the Gilda’s Club of South Florida and increase awareness for breast cancer, the Isle Casino in Pompano Beach will be hosting the ‘Steps for Life Breast Cancer Walk.”

For $25, residents who participate in the three-mile walk will receive a T-shirt, key chain and stuffed Sparkle dog. Registration lasts from 8:30 to 9 a.m. Oct. 10 at the Isle Casino, 777 Isle of Capri Circle, with the walk beginning at 9 a.m. After the walk, refreshments will be available and dogs can participate in the walk.
