Broward Children’s Center to host Smiles Walk event at Goodyear Blimp Base

For the first time in its history, the Broward Children’s Center’s Miles for Smiles Walk will start at the Goodyear Blimp Base in Pompano Beach.

The 6th annual charity walk will have participants walking 4.2 miles around the Pompano Beach Air Park with all proceeds benefiting the Broward Children’s Center which provides medical facilities for children with special needs.

The walk begins at 9 a.m. with check in commencing at 8 a.m. Nov. 14 at the Air Park, 1101 N. Federal Highway. For information on how to sign up and help local youth, contact Rachel Bryan at 954-605-7964.
