Democratic Women’s Club to focus on domestic violence Wednesday

The Democratic Women’s Club of Northeast Broward will be hosting detectives from the Broward Sheriff’s Office to discuss domestic violence issues.

At the meeting, Sheriff’s Office detectives Sylviane Wernath and Grace Benito will go over procedures and programs the Sheriff’s Office has in place to deal with domestic violence. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Emma Lou Olsen Civic Center, 1801 NE Sixth St. For more information, call 954-942-8711.
