Pompano Beach High’s Army JROTC program seeks sponsors to honor fallen soldiers

With more than 5,000 U.S. military members having died since the ‘War on Terrorism’ began, Pompano Beach High School's Army JROTC program will be honoring all who have died during a special ceremony.

The JROTC program wants to plant a U.S. flag for every lost soldier on campus and is seeking sponsors to purchase a flag. For $2, residents can have their name placed on the flag of the fallen soldier. The ceremony begins at 8 a.m. Nov. 10 at Pompano Beach High, 600 NE 13th Ave. For more information, call 954-609-5542.
