More than 25 chefs are slated to gather at 5:30 p.m. May 22 at Sheraton Suites, 555 N.W. 62nd St. in Fort Lauderdale, for what organizers are calling Fine Food and Wine to support the Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce.

The evening of fine dining, various wines and a cash bar will feature auction items such as a weekend resort packages, gift items, art and restaurant certificates. A portion of the vent's proceeds will also go to benefit The Dynamos of Pompano Beach, a nonprofit group that offers recreational programs for people with disabilities. Tickets from $70.
