Vendor open house in Lauderhill next week

Lauderhill and the Lauderhill Regional Chamber of Commerce will organize a Vendor Open House from 8 a.m. to noon on Nov. 14 at City Hall, 5581 Oakland Park Blvd, Lauderhill.

City Commission members, administration senior staff and representatives from deparments such as police, fire rescue, finance, parks and recreation, and engineering and environmental services will attend. Small business owners will be able to discuss current and upcoming bids for fiscal year 2012-2013.

The city’s purchasing division will give an overview on “How to do business with the City of Lauderhill” and will be available to answer questions regarding the city’s purchasing process.

CommunityKIDZ Journey to the Manger

At Christmas time, people can get caught up and lost in the gift giving and receiving portion of the holiday season. For those who want to re-focus on the religious aspect of Christmas, the Community Christian Church, will be having its free Journey to the Manger for families of children ages three years to 5th grade.

The Producers is coming to Tamarac

The Tamarac Theatre Of Performing Arts presents The Producers, Mel Brooks’ classic Broadway musical about producer Max Bialystock and his accountant, Leo Bloom, who devise a plan to make a lot of money by intentionally producing a flop. But what happens when the two accidentally make a hit?

The show runs from Jan. 7th through Jan. 29th.

Celebrate the Holidays with some Blues

On Dec. 9, the South Florida Blues Society will host its annual holiday party at Rosey Baby's, 4587 N. University Drive, Lauderhill.

The party starts at 8 p.m.
