Battle of the Sexes Saturday night at WEF

WELLINGTON - Twenty of the top jumper riders, 10 men and 10 women, will compete for a $55,000 prize at the Winter Equestrian Festival's Battle of the Sexes 7 p.m. Saturday at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, 14440 Pierson Road.
This year's event will include many Olympians as part of the line-up including Eric Lamaze of Canada, 2008 Olympic individual gold and team silver medalist; the USA's double Olympic team gold medalist Beezie Madden and Laura Kraut of the 2008 Olympic gold medal team. Also included in the line-up is New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's daughter, Georgina Bloomberg.
Pony rides, a petting zoo, bounce house, street performers, balloons and face painting will start at 6 p.m.

Admission is free to the event.
