The Royal Palm Beach Village Council will award six $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors residing in Royal Palm Beach. Seniors, graduating in June, may pick up an application from their high school guidance office or from the Village Clerk’s office at Village Hall, 1050 Royal Palm Beach Blvd. It can be downloaded from www.royalpalmbeach.com. On the left border, click on “scholarship information.” The completed application must be postmarked no later than Tuesday, Feb. 17 or may be hand-delivered to the clerk’s office by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb.17. Finalists must be available for interviews on March 21. The scholarship committee of the Education Advisory Board will make the final determination. Winners will be announced in April and the scholarships will be awarded at the Village Council meeting on May 21. Call the village clerk at 561-790-5102.
