Wednesday's polo matches postponed; memorial scheduled

WELLINGTON - The semi-final polo matches that were supposed to take place today have been postponed to Thursday because the polo fields were waterlogged. The matches were not postponed due to the death of 21 horses on Sunday.

A memorial has also been scheduled Thursday at the International Polo Club Palm Beach, 3667 120th Ave. S., to take place after the second polo game that starts at 5 p.m. The first game will start at 1 p.m.
