Weston hospital gets new COO

Cleveland Clinic Florida has appointed Osmel Delgado as its chief operating officer.

Delgado will be responsible for planning and directing operations for the academic medical center, which includes a hospital and medical practices in Weston, as well as practices in Parkland, West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens.

Summerfest concert in Weston

The Weston Philharmonic Society is hosting its annual Summerfest concert, featuring the Symphony of the Americas and the Mission Chamber Orchestra of Rome, at 7 p.m. July 30 in the Temple Dor Dorim auditorium, 2360 Glades Circle.

Tickets can be purchased at Community Bank of Broward, 1540 Weston Road. You can also purchase tickets at the door. Tickets are $20 for members, $30 for nonmembers, $50 for preferred seating.

Back-to-School Bash in Weston

The Weston Town Center is hosting its fourth annual Back-To-School Bash from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10 at 1675 Market St.

Fruits and veggies will be given to the first 500 guests. There also will be entertainment, live music, raffles, giveaways and health screenings.
