Waste and electronics collection event set in Weston

Residents can drop off their household hazardous waste and electronics items at the Weston Public Works Services Center, 2599 S. Post Road, from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, May 20.

This refers to used or leftover contents of consumer products that contain chemicals with one of the four characteristics: toxic, ignitable, corrosive or reactive as defined by the Environmental Protection Agency.

Acceptable items include used motor oil, automotive batteries, computers, televisions and more. For more information, call 954-385-2600.
