More than 1,200 participated in C-SPAN' s StudentCam documentary competition that encourages students to create a short film about issues affecting their communities and nation.

Among this year's winners were Chad Klitzman and Dustin Slade of Cypress Bay High in Weston. They took home second prize overall for "Signed, Sealed and Delivered."

Falcon Cove Middle's Cole Winton, Zach Aponte, Armando Martinez, Justin Iannacone, Daniel Hsu, Lacey Larson, Jordanne Cantrill, Kendra Blandom, Maria Riilo, Gabrielle Ferguson, Blair Yant, Joshua Prem and David Gilefor took home honorable mentions.

This year’s theme asked middle and high school students to focus on any section of the preamble, articles or amendments of the U.S. Constitution. For more information, visit http://www.studentcam.org/.
