Weston was given the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the Fiscal Year beginning Oct. 1, 2011, presented by the Government Finance Officers Association of the U.S. and Canada.

This is the 10th year that the city has received award recognition. Assistant City Manager/CFO David Keller and treasurer Darrel Thomas prepared the annual budget pursuant to the GFOA guidelines and requirements.
