Chlorination water treatment set in Weston

chlorine.jpg

The city of Sunrise water system, which includes Weston, will be using chlorine in its drinking water treatment system to provide additional protection against bacteria.

This temporary treatment of the water system is common practice for water suppliers that use a chlorine treatment method. This periodic program is mandated by the Broward County Health Department.

Some individuals may notice a slight change in the taste, odor or color of the water from July 2-20.

For more information, visit www.sunrisefl.gov or call 954-888-6000.
