Weston student named in Presidential Scholar program

Katherine McGee, a senior at Cypress Bay High School in Weston, is among more than 3,000 candidates chosen for the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program.

Inclusion is one of the highest honors bestowed upon graduating high school students. Candidates were selected for their exceptional performance on either the College Board SAT or ACE assessment. Outstanding scholarship, essays, self-assessments, recommendations, activities and transcripts are involved in the process. A total of 560 semifinalists will be selected in early April.
