Billy Joel goes to New Orleans

Billy JoelThe New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival announced that Billy Joel will be a headlining act for the first time in the event's history. This year's seven-day stretch lasts from Apr. 25-27 and from May 1-4.

Joel will play Saturday, Apr. 26.

Reflecting the festival's increasingly eclectic mix, other first-time performers include Stevie Wonder, Tim McGraw, Sheryl Crow and Keyshia Cole. Also on the bill: The Raconteurs, Jimmy Buffett, Santana, Diana Krall and Robert Plant and Allison Krauss.
