Missy Elliott took over a movie theater in Times Square last night to show her new video off right.
"Everybody put your glasses on," Elliott told the crowd, gathered to see a screening of "Step Up 2," which features two of her songs on the soundtrack. "I know y'all don't want to wear 'em because they'll smash your lashes, but you gotta do it."
It was worth it. Though "Ching-a-Ling," the first video to be shot in 3-D, is impressive enough on TV, on the big screen, it's even better, with the effects of Missy pointing bats and the various dance moves causing the crowd to scream with delight.
