MAMA TOOK MY EYEBROWS!

Holy crap. Holy crap. My mind is spinning. George failed. Burke left. Lexi Grey. Christina crying. Derek is Chief. No Chief is Chief. AHHHHHHHHH! Only a season finale could jam pack an extra 15 minutes full of jaw dropping, hold your breath all summer drama. Wow, I'm exhausted. I can honestly say, I didn't see any of that coming. Well, I actually thought Burke would be the one to walk out. Ok, from the beginning.
Pre-wedding Christina. She looked like a Geisha on crack. Add the scalpel and she is a force to be reckoned with. Writing her vows on her hand, classic. Washing them off to cut someone open hours before her wedding, priceless.
Love sick Izzie. She owns the "I am your best friend" comment like a dog owns a half chewed bone. I have never heard someone reiterate one line so much in my life. During her "I hope you love me too" speech, did you notice George's face? I'm thinking he resembled a guy who just found out he flunked an intern program. Or a little boy whose dog just got run over by the neighborhood school bus. He also beared a striking resemblance to Beetlejuice. If I never see a man's face with that expression after I profess my love, it will be too soon. Also, how unoriginal for jacking Burke's speech? Get your own vows Izzie Stevens. Can a model's life get any more complicated?
Bar flittering Derek. I was fully prepared to write a paragraph about how selfish Derek is. Actually, I had started writing how he is completely consumed with himself. And then I deleted it. I deleted it because in the last few minutes, I realized its Meredith. Meredith is the one that makes him selfish. Meredith is the one that leaves him wanting more. She is consumed with herself, her feelings and her woeful life. She is unwilling to open her eyes and her heart to someone who wants to love her. I am sure she chose Seattle because it is dark and dreary, just like her. She has a very high chance of ending up alone in her mother's two story house with a few stray cats, a stack of magazines from her last subscription in 1993 and a pile of VHS's with recorded surgeries from her internship days. Maybe Lexi Grey will be a little more hopeful.
Note: If you are single, get in an accident and book a room at Seattle Grace. You have about a 75% chance of having a very attractive staff member fall in love with you.
So, what do I think? Well, I didn't have any expectations for this episode, so I'm not upset. I am a little frustrated with Meredith. A little more frustrated with Burke, but the man has to protect his heart. I am mostly frustrated with Izzie, because she is becoming a dimwit. But, I'm not upset. Will George return? I think so. Will Burke leave the show to start a Gay Pride tour across America? Probably not. Will we forget about all of our frustrations come mid-July and start asking "When is Grey's coming back on?"? I am positive.
