COUNTDOWN TO 2008 WITH CAT DEELEY

WHO WILL DR. HOUSE CHOOSE TO JOIN HIS TEAM?

By the end of six weeks, one of you will be gone. As will twenty-eight more of you. Wear a cup. - Dr. Gregory House

More than 30 doctors applied for the coveted fellowship positions with the irascible but brilliant Dr. House (Hugh Laurie), but only four remain in the competition with ever-changing rules and House pulling all the strings. Who will House choose to be part of his diagnostic team at Princeton-Plainsboro and who will be discharged – leaving the hospital disappointed and empty-handed?

A quick recap of the remaining candidates:

house2007PremEPK_penn_thumb.jpg Lawrence Kutner (Kal Penn) – His specialty is rehabilitative and sports medicine. He is the most enthusiastic of all the potential fellows, but his enthusiasm could be dangerous. A radical thinker, he is the only one who doesn’t think House’s crazy moves aren’t crazy enough.

house2007PremEPK_jacobson_thumb.jpg Chris Taub (Peter Jacobson) – His specialty is plastic surgery. He is both shallow and inciteful. Taub left a successful practice for unknown reasons, which only made House more determined to figure out why.

house2007PremEPK_wilde_thumb.jpgThirteen (Olivia Wilde) – Her specialty is internal medicine. She’s a competent young doctor who plays her cards extremely close to the vest. She is an enigma wrapped in a riddle – and House loves a good mystery.

house2007PremEPK_dudek_thumb.jpgAmber Volakis (Anne Dudek) – Her specialty is interventional radiology. An aggressive competitor, she’s not afraid to “finesse” a situation when necessary, which doesn’t endear her to the other fellows.

The eight-episode story arc comes to its shocking conclusion on Tuesday, Nov. 27 (9:00 PM) on FOX43.

HOUSE ranks as FOX’s No. 1 program across the majority of key demos, including Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Total Viewers; ranks as the No. 2 regular primetime program among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens; ranks No. 1 in its Tuesday 9:00 PM time period among all key demos; is the season’s only Top 5 returning drama to post year-to-year gains among Adults 18-49 (up 20% versus last year’s comparable telecasts); and is the only program to rank among the season’s Top 5 primetime programs across Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

Emmy Award-winning HOUSE is from Heel and Toe Films, Shore Z Productions and Bad Hat Harry Productions in association with Universal Media Studios. Katie Jacobs, David Shore, Paul Attanasio, Bryan Singer, Russel Friend, Garrett Lerner and Thomas L. Moran are executive producers.
