Idol Chatter: Who do you think the Idol Contestants look like?
Just thought a little Idol Internet fun was in order…

Hey guys, I was boppin’ around on the Internet and started thinking about this year's Idol crop of contestants and what it takes to be the next American Idol. I hate to say it, but it really has a lot to do with your looks. Don’t get me wrong singing makes a big difference, but there’s got to be a reason Kristy Lee Cook is still hangin’ around. Anywho, I decided to get a little creative (with the help of the myheritage.com website)and check out who the top twelve most resemble with it comes to the hollywood crowd.
So in no particular order here goes…

I was really surprised when Elisha came up for Amanda, personally I think Amanda looked like the female version of skunk boy Jason Yeager, but it's not like the website is perfect...Amanda was also matched with Beyonce Knowles and a young Leonardo Dicaprio if that's any indication of it's accuracy. I'm just glad the biker nurse is on her way with that wacked out hair-don't. Is it just me or is there always one rocker girl with weird colored hair each year...usually pink.

David Cook as many of you know is my favorite guy, and I honestly never would have seen the resemblance to Keanu before, but now I kind of see it. Either way he looks hot, but this just proves to Clyde that he would probably be cute with short hair too. I don't care if he has a comb-front or whatever, maybe it's just a big forehead...he did say he had a big head as a child, either way he's a rocker and he's cool in my book. BTW David also had matches with Carson Daly, Heath Ledger, and Elvis.

Brooke came up with a big match to Kim Basinger, and with this picture I can really see it. I guess Brooke may have a chance of aging well if she looks anything like Basinger in a few years. I know Brooke is Cylde's sweetheart, and I can see why, she is a sweet and innocent and is loved by all...although maybe a little too much by the judges. I was really surprised that she didn’t get a match with Jessica Biel with this picture, she really has her cheekbones.

David's is one of the creepier morphs, he really looks like Kristen Bell, stop it in the middle for an interesting combo shot. Archuleta has such a babyface he matched up with mostly young actresses. Some noteable matches being Thora Birch, Kirsten Dunst, and weirdly enough Anne Frank.

Carly looks like Katie Holmes, but I think Katie has a lot softer look to her. I love the dark hair and light complextion of Irish girls. I wonder if Katie has an English or Irish background? Carly also had matches with Madonna and Scarlett Johansson but those two really didn't fit very well.

I guess Chikezie looks like Charles Barkley, but I think they just matched because of their smiles and head tilt. It was funny to see the other men Mr. Eze matched up with though. Former Idol winner Ruben Studdard was one of his matches, and that was actually really close. The site also came up with presidential candidate Barack Obama-but their head shapes are way off.

Hikaru Utada (she’s a Japanese pop singer) is Ramiele's best match, which was pretty good. She matched up with a lot of people with hair in their faces like Ashton Kutcher. I really like Ramiele's hair and style, if only she would pick more upbeat songs to sing and showcase her big voice. When she sings those kind of songs her attitude shines through and I think the fans love that side of her...I know I do.

Old Crazy Eyes David Hernandez matched best with Liv Tyler...and I have to admit I laughed out loud for real when I saw this morph. He really does have feminine features, he had a couple of strange female matches for this picture including Halle Berry...how weird is that?

I love Syesha, to me she just has the "it" factor. I hope she survives after being in the bottom three this week. I love that she does such diverse things to her hair and she has such a familiar face. I was a little disapointed that she didn't match with somebody that was more famous. Garcelle Beauvais Nilon is a model/actress that looks really familiar, but I don't think I've seen anything she's been in. Syesha also got matched to Eva Longoria and Beyonce Knowles.

Jason was another one of the guys that matched up with a bunch of girls. I played nice with Jason though and let him morph into Zach Braff. The girls he looks like are… a young Demi Moore, Tori Amos and coming completely out of left field Queen Latifah. I have to admit the dreads aren't really my thing, I can't stop thinking about the potential of bugs living in there, but he does have amazing blue eyes going for him.

Kristy Lee looks a little better as Kirsten Dunst than David Archuleta probably would. The patriotic princess also got matches with Dakota Fanning and Katie Couric. I think at this point Kristy Lee is just coasting on her good looks, because her singing isn't doing her any favors. I also wonder if that "votefortheworst" site isn't making a difference in her sticking around. DON'T LET HER BE THIS YEAR'S SANJAYA PEOPLE!

Check out Michael Johns morphing into Harry Connick Jr. This came as no surprise, Michael is a pretty good looking guy, so I figured he'd have some hot guy matches. Johns also looks like Pierce Brosnan and Billy Joel. You just know Michael is going to have a music deal after Idol. He's such an attractive guy, a great singer, and he already has the experience to back him up. I highly doubt he'll win the competition, but we'll be seeing Mr. Johns again.
