Prison Break's 'T-Bag' Robert Knepper Stars in Next Transporter 3 Movie!
After the poorly received mess that was Transporter 2, Fox apparently wanted nothing to do with yet another Frank Martin over-the-top adventure.
Enter Lionsgate, who has become a home for pretty much any Jason Statham character these days. Having already distributed Statham's Crank, War and The Bank Job, and with Crank 2 in the hopper, Lionsgate did not hesitate to snatch up distribution rights to Transporter 3.
The third go around for Frank Martin has already wrapped principle production and is in post. There's no announced time frame for release, but we could see it in theaters before the year is out.
Returning alongside Statham as Frank Martin is Francois Berleand as Place Vendome. New to the cast is Robert Knepper of Prison Break fame.
