New 4th American Idol Judge!!!

Contestants on American Idol's eighth season will get critiqued by four judges instead of three.

Fans of idol will see a new face on the judges table this year....

Kara_DioguardiAward-winning songwriter and producer Kara Dioguardi (dee-oh-guard-dee) will round out the judge's panel this season.

Dioguardi says she was shocked when she got the call to be on the show.

Dioguardi says: "When they told me I was the judge, I just didn't believe it. I still don't believe it. I don't even know what I'm doing here right now. I'm just trying to enjoy it and trying to take it one day as it comes, because it is a big change for me."

Dioguardi is no stranger to idol...
She's helped write songs for past Idol winners and contestants like Kelly Clarkson and Katherine Mcphee.
Dioguardi has also worked with superstars like Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani.

She brings years of experience to the table....
And a little bit of fire.

Dioguardi says: "I'm also very opinionated and pretty feisty and not afraid of a good confrontation, so I'm looking forward to it. Bring it on."

So what does Dioguardi think about her "soon-to-be" co-workers?

Dioguardi says: "Paula brings a lot because shes sold many records, she's performed; she knows how hard it is to be an artist and actually turn that dream into reality.

Dioguardi says: "Randy has just got so much great energy and when he speaks to the contestants he's coming from a very knowledgeable place. He's been a great, is a great musician. He's been out on the road, so he knows what it takes to be a huge superstar."

Dioguardi says: "Simon. Simon is pretty much dead on. He kinda calls it like he sees it. I like that about him. He's very honest; he's funny."

The eighth season of Idol kicks off in January.

Adam Sandler & Jack Black Save Thanksgiving

Food, family, parades...there are many things you might think of when you hear the word "Thanksgiving."

We here at FOX43 hope "football" isn't one of them. Or, if it is, we hope you'll skip whatever game is on and check out our amazing, holiday movie presentation of Click, starring Adam Sandler.

And because you've feasted hard enough to make leaving the couch impossible for at least 48 hours, stick around for Jack Black in School of Rock on Friday night!

MOVIES!

ON THANKSGIVING!

AND THE DAY AFTER!

SERIOUSLY!

WATCH THEM!

THEY'RE INCREDIBLE!

Thursday, November 27
8:00pm MOVIE: CLICK

Friday, November 28
8:00pm MOVIE: SCHOOL OF ROCK

Click stars Adam Sandler as harried workaholic, Michael Newman doesn’t have time for his wife (Kate Beckinsale) and children, not if he’s to impress his ungrateful boss and earn a well-deserved promotion. So, when he meets Morty (Christopher Walken), a loopy sales clerk, he gets the answer to his prayers: a magical remote control that allows him to bypass life’s little distractions with increasingly hysterical results. But as Michael gleefully mutes, skips and scans past his family and friends, the remote gradually takes over his life and begins to program him, in this fast, funny and out-of-control comedy adventure.

And as for School of Rock, Dewey Finn (Jack Black) is down on his luck. Kicked out of his rock band just when they were going to win “Battle of the Bands”, flat broke and lacking any job skills whatsoever, he fakes his way into a job as a substitute fourth grade teacher at a stuffy private school. Instead of teaching the curriculum, Dewey tutors the kids in the subject nearest and dearest to his heart – rock and roll!

So, there you have it.

Two hot movies on FOX43 this November. Mark your calendars now.

You've been warned.

Bloggin' the Wall: Get into It!

WallBlogPandaman.jpg

Think about this description: "Body-bending, mind-twisting, global game show phenomenon."

You probably shrugged it off, didn't you?

"Meh. So? Just more hype for another lousy show that won't last three episodes...yawn."

I was once like you! I doubted! I was cynical, I was angry, I was disappointed.

TV was a big let-down...and I was one sad bear.

But, life doesn't have to be so cold, friends!

I was lost, but now am found - AND SO CAN YOU BE, TOO!

Behold, a powerhouse that lives up to the hype - a train wreck from which you can't look away, a mix of comedy, athletics and luck so unique and perfect, I am devoting a new blog to it, here on Electric Blogaloo!

HoleInWall%201.jpg

Hole. In. The. Wall.

Yes!

It premieres Thursday, September 11 at 8PM on FOX43.

And it'll be the perfect fit for FOX43's Thursday Night Game Show Block (TM)!

HoleInWall%202.jpg

Get it? "Perfect fit?"

That's brilliant, shut up.

I'M A PANDA. WHADDAYA' WANT FROM ME?!!

Here's what we know. Hole in the Wall became an instant ratings success on Japan’s Fuji TV in July 2006, where it continues to rank No. 1 in its timeslot. Versions of the show quickly popped up all around the world - Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, Colombia, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Malaysia, Mexico, Russia, Sweden and the U.K.

And now, it's our turn! America, specifically the central Pennsylvanian part of it, get on board! The trickiest, fastest, funniest and wettest show on the planet is coming, and get ready to laugh at and be impressed by the poor, doomed contestants.

During each episode, two teams of three compete against each other in multiple rounds of play, facing various barrier walls speeding toward them with weird and wacky cut-out shapes. Each team must bend and twist their bodies individually or as a team fit through the wall...

...or be swept away INTO THE DREADED POOL OF DOOM BELOW!

As players struggle to strike a pose, points – and dignity – can be easily lost with even the SIMPLEST mistake!

HITW_103_RED_0019.jpg

The pace heats up as the rounds progress, and quick thinking, coordination, agility and clever teamwork will be absolutely necessary for the players' VERY SURVIVAL!!!!!

(Okay, I exaggerate a bit. It's highly unlikely anyone's life will be in jeopardy. Still, it'll be funny watching people get smashed by moving walls.)

And they're doing all this crazy shape-shifting for $25,000, and the chance to face the dreaded “Blind Wall" where the winning team can take home an extra $100,000!

BLIND-FOLDED! SERIOUSLY!11

Holy wow.

Come on, this is going to be hot. And, speaking of hot...

HITW_100_Brooke_Mark_0001.rc.jpg

...here are your hosts, Brooke Burns and Mark Thompson!

Burns is best-known as the host of game show Dog Eat Dog. You may also recognize her as the star of FOX43 beach drama North Shore.

And you may not know Thompson's face, but if you've ever seen Don't Forget the Lyrics!, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, The Swan or Paradise Island, you'll definitely recognize his voice! He provides voice-overs for those current and past FOX43 shows, and also serves as a weather anchor in Los Angeles.

Be sure to check back here on Blogaloo for regular updates and entries about THE MOST EXCITING SHOW ABOUT MOVING WALLS EVER TO COME TO FOX43...

Hole%20logo.jpg

Forget Idol. Forget Dance. In fact, forget everything you've ever seen.

I need you here with me.

Watch Hole in the Wall on FOX43, and fall in love just like I have. And be sure to post your comments right here on the Bloggin' the Wall! I may be a panda, but I love reading your fan mail and hearing people talk this show!

Also, bamboo. I'm fond of bamboo, as well.

melinda_doolittle1.jpg

American Idol fans, keep an eye (and an ear) out for new music from the talented singer.

And for those wondering what she's been up to since her graceful exit from the Idol stage...

Melinda Doolittle was part of the American Idols Tour 2007, along with fellow contestants who were in the top 10. Some of her performances included "Proud Mary", which she sang as a duet with Sanjaya Malakar (joked by many critics to compare 'the best and the worst' of Season 6), Supremes tribute with LaKisha Jones, and (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman, which she sang solo. Two days after the American Idol Season Finale, Doolittle, along with the other nine top ten contestants, appeared on Larry King Live.

In an exclusive interview with Good Morning America, Simon Cowell stated that the season six title of American Idol should have rightfully gone to Doolittle.

Writer Stephen Holden of The New York Times described her as a "phenomenally gifted, stylistically adroit [...] Gladys Knight-Tina Turner hybrid [who] brings a compelling honesty to every phrase she sings," and predicted a successful post-Idol career for her.

Doolittle has stated that she plans to work on a CD, and that it would be "soul music".

Melinda Doolittle along with Blake Lewis and Jordin Sparks performed at Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Special where they sang God Bless America and America the Beautiful.

President George W. Bush, Laura Bush and guests listen to singer Melinda Doolittle perform Tuesday evening, November 13, 2007 in the East Room of the White House, during a social dinner in honor of America's Promise-The Alliance for Youth. On 3 November 2007 Nicole Lapin interviewed Doolittle for CNN's Young People Who Rock series. In the interview she refers to her support for the Malaria No More campaign and how donating bed nets can help to eradicate malaria from the African continent. She specifically mentions her supportive fans who have donated bed nets on her behalf at each of the 59 venues of the American Idol tour and who also made a large donation on her birthday.

It has been confirmed that Doolittle will be joining Michael W. Smith on his upcoming Christmas tour.

Once a month Doolittle is featured on a web show called "Moments With Melinda" where fans can call and talk to her.

Doolittle also took part in the book Chicken Soup for the American Idol Soul.

Her first single, "My Funny Valentine" is available (as of February 12, 2008) through Itunes and Amazon MP3 Downloads. Sony BMG is the publisher.

On July 2008, she was part of the Michael W Smith and friends Carribbean Cruise 2008 as a guest performer.

It was officially annnounced on July 29, 2008 by Entertainment Weekly that Doolittle has signed with independent label called Hi Fi Recordings and will have an album released in the fall. She also stated that a Christmas album will be out by the end of this year.

Homer Simpson Euro Found by Shopkeeper in Spain

A one euro coin has turned up in Spain bearing the face of cartoon couch potato Homer Simpson instead of that of the country's king, a sweetshop owner told Reuters on Friday.

HomerJose Martinez was counting the cash in his till in the city of Aviles, northern Spain, when he came across the coin where Homer's bald head, big eyes and big nose had replaced the serious features of King Juan Carlos.

"The coin must have been done by a professional, the work is impressive," he told Reuters.

The comical carver had not taken his tools to the other side of the coin displaying the map of Europe. So far, no other coins of the hapless, beer-swilling oaf have been found in circulation.

"I've been offered 20 euros for it," said Martinez.

SYTYCD #23: Season 4 is Over!

SYTYCD Blog

Well, everyone, So You Think You Can Dance? Season 4 has come to an end! The Top 4 put in amazing performances on Wednesday, but America voted...and it all comes down to one lucky and talented winner. I was a little surprised by it, though.

Really? I wasn't at all.

We'll discuss that more in just a little bit. Let's start off by going through the big finale, though. I assumed everyone watched?

DancerX.jpgThis was the best year we've ever seen...the dances have been spectacular. And as nice as it would have been to relive the greatest moments of Season 4...no. Dancer X did not watch, already knowing how the show was going to end, anyway.

Clyde.jpgGood man or woman or whatever you are, X. I'll fully admit, I didn't watch the entire show. In fact, I was watching the season finale of Last Comic Standing, and, while I DID predict the winner of THAT show correctly...only saw bits and pieces of SYTYCD. No big, deal, though...I mean, they only had 2 minutes worth of interesting new information to tell us.

Nope. Didn't care at all. Who won?

Well...I was going to have us talk about the entire finale and hold that off until the end, but...if no one WATCHED, we might as well forget that idea.

Tango.jpgNow, just a minute, Julie! Not all of us let you down. Of course I watched! It was a great show, and it's a disgrace that those three decided not to tune in. I oughta' lock you all away!

DancerX.jpgKeep your hands off Dancer X! It is not necessary to watch when you have ALREADY SCRIPTED OUT THE ENTIRE SHOW FOR AMERICA. LOOK AT THE PREDICTIONS...DANCER X IS A GENIUS!

Sit down, Dancer X. And, thank you, Sgt. Tango. At least YOU were there with us! Overall, good finale, better than American Idol's finale. And no Julie, that wasn't a jab at your precious David Cook, that was a jab at how annoying, overdone, and lame American Idol is. I mean did you see an 10 minute long advertisements for a Mike Myers movie during the show tonight? No. It was all about the dancing. Well done Nigel, and Simon Fuller on getting at least one show right.

Clyde.jpgI can't believe anyone would call this stupid show lame compared to Idol. Idol is absolutely vanilla and predictable, and they waste a LOT of time. But THIS show is a disjointed, unbearable parade of annoying people. There's no contest...Idol is SO much better, I can't believe that this thing has even been on the air for 4 seasons.

You know what? This is actually pretty interesting...let's just talk about the show a bit and maybe we can bring up a thing or two that happened during the finale, just kind of do a highlight reel and then go to the big results!

Sounds good to me. Did they do the Bollywood dance, again?

They did! Nigel's favorite dance of the season was Katee and Joshua's Bollywood number, and it was one of my favorites, too! I was so glad when the show started branching out to different forms of dance, it really made for a more well-rounded competition, taking everyone out of their comfort zones. It also brought awareness to other cultures of dance…ok go ahead call me a nerd and make fun of me now.

Clyde.jpgYou're a nerd. But not because you like this dance style. It's a shame I missed the Bollywood thing, actually. I didn't see that the first time, and I was interested. Oh, well. I missed the rerun of that dance, and I'm not interested enough to look around YouTube. I like Indian pop music. It's infectious, and injecting something a bit foreign is always interesting in a competition like this. You know, like when Sanjaya sang "Besame Mucho" on Idol. Admit it...there was something hauntingly enjoyable about that performance.

Tango.jpgIt is a shame you missed it, Clyde. I really liked that Asian stuff!! This season was really good on the choreography...

Oooh, hey! Daphne, how about that dance-off between Robert Muraine and Phillip Chebeeb?

They were awesome...I couldn't have voted on who was better though, because they were both sick!

The dance off between these two was mind-blowing! It's just incredible the way these guys are able to move their bodies. I totally agree with the judges that Robert won, but I gained new respect for Chebeeb seeing him go up against him, they really were well matched.

Clyde.jpgI flipped over to FOX43 around 9:30, saw that "door dance" with the Duffy song, and was glad I caught it. I'm absolutely in love with Duffy's music, and I had a thought.

There's a first.

Clyde.jpgQuiet, you. I realized that I enjoyed the dance more when I knew the song. It's no secret that I'm more into music than dance, and I got to thinking...maybe this show wouldn't be so painful if I at least recognized and liked more of the song choices? I'll go back into the Idol Chatter Playbook (TM) and issue a Song Choice Warning to So You Think You Can Dance? until they come around and stop picking awful music to dance to. It's at the heart of why I like Idol better, I think...it's hard for me to quantify who is truly better or worse, here. I don't much care about the minutiae of dance, but singing...you can HEAR a bad note. You can HEAR nerves, and a botched lyric moment sticks with a performer for the rest of the season. You can evaluate how they sing songs, because, usually, you're familiar with the songs they're covering. Dance is too ADD for me. It just jumps around, and no one can clearly or concisely explain what they show's really about or how it works. It's as if they're making it up as they go along, and it's SEASON 4! Besides, this season ends with an asterisk, anyway. With Jessica going home due to injury and Comfort coming back after having been voted off...the results of everything that happened after that week are fatally flawed. I know the show must go on, but...not cool. I didn't like it when Idol had to screw around with results due to voting problems, either. It cheapens the entire show!

Well although they're made by the same creators, a Dancing and Singing competition have to be different. The song choices are often popular songs, but to do many of the dancing styles popular songs just don't fit. I applaud the creators with taking a risk and doing something that might not be popular LIKE the Bollywood dancing-it actually turned out well. Now with the voting issues...singing can easily go from solo to group without a problem, and no one ever has to rely on anyone else to help them in the competition. With dancing, although there is only one winner, most of the time you have to rely on your partner to help you out. I know it doesn't seem far to have one girl leave and another come back, but it really was the best option-having the last girl voted off come back. It may not have been an easy decision to make, but they had to for the competition to go on, and I think they made the right choice. As for that dance...Clyde, seems you actually AGREED with Mary on something! For those who don't remember, Mary's next choice for her favorite routine was Katee and Twitch doing Mia Michaels' Contemporary routine with the door. I loved this dance the first time around, and I loved it just as much this time. Mia comes up with such interesting stories to tell…and yes, Dancer X, I know it's another abusive relationship story, but I like the abuse.

DancerX.jpgOh, you're one of THOSE girls, eh? It is a trope that the choreographers have relied upon far too frequently...and it simply become tiresome. Not to mention, it gives Dancer X pause to reflect on the state of domestic violence in America.

Tango.jpgIt's true. On the force, I saw way too many relationships end in bitter dance fights.

Clyde.jpgWell, between simulated sexual intercourse and spousal abuse, this show really does paint an ugly picture. Those choreographers must be pretty screwed up. Anyway, I just wanted to bring that up and send a shout-out to Duffy. What else crappened last night, ladies?

Let's see...we also saw Nigel and Mary dance!

Mary danced? Now I'm REALLY glad I didn't watch.

Clyde.jpgWith you on that. I hate her more than life.

Tango.jpgMARY MURPHY IS A TREASURE, YOU UNGRATEFUL PUNKS!

Settle down, Sarge. It's ok. Mary danced with past contestant Dimitry to a Samba, and I almost would have believed that Mary's routine wasn't taped if it weren't for the audio issues. It was a little creepy seeing her dance with Dimitry, though. When she wasn't looking at the camera it almost looked like she was one of the other girls this season, and then she twirled around and it was like "Ahh! It's Mary!" Old woman's crazy face on a young girl's dress. It was just weird for me.

Clyde.jpgNightmare-worthy, just hearing you describe it! I'd rather listen to Paula Abdul's crappy "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow" single.

Tango.jpgNightmare? I think Mary can really MOVE! I didn't see that coming. Reminds me of the old days...

Finally, Mary Murphy doing something that isn't TALKING.

Mary dancing was...odd. Nigel dancing was cool, though!

Nigel joined the Debbie Allen Dance Academy for a Tap Dance routine, but I thought Nigel made it a bit cheesy. It was fine as just the kids...but, I guess I understand a little cheese in the finale.

Tango.jpgDid you know that I used to tap like that?

Show me your moves!

Tango.jpgNot with my bad knees...but back in the day, I could've held my own on that stage.

Clyde.jpgThis is So You Think You Dance? not Cop Rock.

Julie, Nigel dancing may have been a little cheesy...but this show STILL wasn't anywhere NEAR as cheesy as the American Idol finale.

Clyde.jpgSomeone's jealous they're not on the Idol Chatter panel.

Please...and have to spend more time with YOU? No thanks.

DancerX.jpgDANCE BLOG FOREVER!

Look. They're BOTH really cheesy, dogg. Debate settled!

How about the Cirque du Soleil-Cast of Criss Angel: Believe "Homage to the Rabbits?" Wasn't that totally freaky?

The bunnies were creepy, but I did like the dance, despite the creepiness.

All the dancers in bunny suits dancing in front of a bunny in a coffin? I love Wade as a choreographer, but this scared me just a little.

Tango.jpgRabbit people! Very dark, tribal and artistic.

Before we wrap this up, I just wanted to mention two other dances. Mia Michael's favorite dance was Katee and Will's Pas de Duex, probably the most perfect dance of the whole season. The two strongest dancers technically in the whole competition dancing a beautifully complicated routine together, absolutely flawlessly. After they had that one minor turn issue their first time dancing this, I knew they would get a second chance doing it in the finale, and they nailed it.

Tango.jpgBeautiful don't you think, Dancer X? Or is it not good enough?

DancerX.jpgGood enough...but not good enough for either of them to win the competition.

We're getting to the results, don't worry...

Clyde.jpgThe girl you think should win and the guy you loved to drool over...fitting that you'd like this one, Julie!

Favorites aside, this is just a great dance, Clyde! It was great to see it, again. And Adam chose Sonja's piece "The Garden" with Courtney and Mark. I know not everyone understands this routine, but I really like it. It's so raw and animalistic. I just love it.

Clyde.jpgOh, wait. Hey, I knew the Jonas Brothers were schedule to appear, and I turned the channel as soon as I heard Cat Deely say, "The Jonas." I think I watched for a total of maybe 5 minutes, because they came up after that door dance...and I never went back. I hate them. Hate, hate, hate. Hate. Hate their success, hate their little "clean teen" image, hate their desperate pleas for respect as a REAL rock band when it's clear the Disney Machine (TM) chewed them up and spit them out as palatable, plastic, inoffensive wondercreatures. And, most of all, I hate how I'm being forced to see them pop up all over the place. Can't wait until their 15 minutes of fame is up. They're all hideously ugly, too. And history has shown that ugly men can rock. I mean, look at the Stones, or Ozzy, or Gene Simmons. The list goes on, but ugly dudes tend to rock. Can't wait to see David Cook opening for them on their next concert tour, though. That'd be the perfect marriage of mind-numbing, forgettable faux rockers!

Clyde...this is usually where I jump in and yell at you for being mean. But...I'm sorry, I know they're super popular and every teen and tween loves them, but I don't care about these kids or their songs.

Clyde.jpgJulie, it is always so refreshing to hear you tear something down. And are you just going to let me get away with the David Cook thing?

THAT was uncalled for, and I was trying to ignore it. You all know I try to stay nice, but...yeah, I can't support the Jonas Brothers.

Don't ask me about the Jonas Brothers, because I felt the need to run around screaming "OMG! THE JONAS BROTHERS!!!" in a mocking tone, so I actually missed their performance. Oops.

But, with that ugliness out of the way...let's get to those results!

Before we do, remind everyone what our winner receives, Julie!

Clyde.jpgPlease, enlighten me. I'm still confused.

Yeah, I have no clue what they're competing for, still.

Well, Adam Shankman announced at the beginning of the show that, along with the $250,000 prize, the winner would have a spot in his new movie Step Up 3-D!

Clyde.jpgReally? Is being in Step Up 3-D a prize or a punishment? Yuck.

Dance%20Results%20Joshua.bmp

Joshua has been declared America's Favorite Dancer. I have to say that I am surprised, I really thought that if Katee didn't have it that Twitch would. But I guess Joshua was the Dark Horse I wasn't expecting. I'm not upset that he won, because he's a wonderful dancer and I'm glad that it was a Hip Hop dancer this year, but I'm still surprised.

Like I said at the beginning of this thing, I wasn't really surprised. I was predicting Katee, because she was technically the best, but then again if viewers of these types of show actually voted on who was the best technically, Melinda Doolittle would have won American Idol two years ago. So, I should have known. No disappointment though. All four dancers were so very talented. Joshua deserved it. I did think it was really stupid that Katee, who came in THIRD place, won $50,000...and Twitch who came in second place got....well, the rights to second place. What is up with that?

Clyde.jpgThat WAS weird. So, Joshua won. I'd like to say I'm disappointed, but it's just the kind of insipid choice one should expect from this show. Come on, no one is going to remember this guy 6 months from now. He's not becoming a star. Stop trying to make Joshua happen, Dance. He's not going to happen. As for my prediction that Twitch would win, I think the show was clearly rigged and I don't much care.

Tango.jpgAll of those young successful dancers together. They look like me when I was a young whippersnapper! Joshua deserves to win. He was so graceful and strong. A true top guy! This Sergeant salutes you, Joshua!

Let's take a look at who everyone here picked, again.

Blogger%20Picks.bmp

DancerX.jpgDancer X read America's sentiments exactly. Dancer X chose Joshua, and the show unfolded precisely as predicted. And now, Dancer X retires to the shadows, undefeated, until another season of Dance is upon us. Don't bet against The X.

Just goes to show you...you can not like the show and STILL get it completely right.

Clyde.jpgCongratulations to Artie Funk and Dancer X, the Lords of the Dance and the only ones with the clear vision and keen judgement to take this show SERIOUSLY and pick the right contestant. Artie, X, you have outshined even Julie and Daphne in your abilities, and I fully expect you to join this blog team EVERY WEEK next season and bring that So You Think You Can Dance? expertise you've shown.

But...what'll you do?

Clyde.jpgI won't be involved in any way.

I...I don't like that at all. What about Julie and Daphne?

Clyde.jpgThey're fired.

Harsh. Well, I'd like to thank you for that kind offer -

Don't we get a say?

It IS our column.

Clyde.jpgYou two did a LOVELY job this season...but, it's obvious now that Artie and Dancer X are truly the masters.

Clyde! That's SO not happening.

Good. That would kill me.

DancerX.jpgDancer X shall pass, as well.

Sounds good to me, because I'm not about to give up my spot!

Neither am I! Daphne and I will be back next season, and I'm taking a long-awaiting blogging break until American Idol starts up again!

Clyde.jpgBlogging breaks are lovely. I'm heading straight back to Maui after this.

Of COURSE you are...

Clyde.jpg...where else would I be, Daph? I have to prepare myself mentally for another season of American Idol. FOX43's only decent talent competition!

DancerX.jpgSilence, hater! Dancer X will put Joshua up against David Cook any day!

Tango.jpgThat's it. Where are my cuffs?

Daphne, Julie, good job on the blog all summer. Artie's outta' here!

So are we! Thanks for reading, Dance-heads!

See you next time.

SYTYCD #22: The Last Dance (or Six)

SYTYCD Blog

Dance%20Crew.jpg

Well, we are down to the top four, and tonight we have a full house judging. First up Mandy Moore is on the actual judging panel, and here's EVERYONE on our judging team! Julie Heart and I are joined by Artie Funk, Clyde Collins, Dancer X, and Officer Tango!

Tango.jpgThat's SERGEANT Tango. I was a Sergeant.

Oh, right. How could I have forgotten? Anyway, as you can see, the whole panel of guest judges is here with us, tonight...

...big show, big panel! We've got a huge night of dancing to sort through, and it is going to be harder than EVER to make a call on who should win it all.

top4.jpg
Your Top 4 Finalists!
Pictured L-R: Twitch Boss, Katee Shean, Courtney Galiano and Joshua Allen.

In all honesty, I think I would be happy if any of these dancers win. They were all such a joy to watch this season!

Clyde.jpgLook, they've already sent Chelsie home, so...I've got no favorites left in this competition. I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that Twitch will win, before even watching anything, just because he comes with a brand name and people get behind that kind of thing.

Oh, Clyde...will we EVER get to the end of a reality show without you whining about the one you like being sent home?

Clyde.jpgUntil America starts picking the right people to win, no! Probably. Instead we get stuck with bald phonies like David Coo -

DON'T YOU DARE, CLYDE! I WILL HAVE SECURITY THROW YOU OUT OF THIS BUILDING IF YOU START MESSING WITH DAVID COOK, DO YOU HEAR ME?! HE IS A STAR, HE WON, HE'S GREAT, LEAVE HIM ALONE!

Clyde.jpgSeriously? You'll have me kicked out?

Wait...NO! YOU'D LIKE THAT! I'LL FORCE YOU TO WATCH THE ENTIRE SHOW THREE TIMES, TIED TO THE CHAIR, CLOCKWORK ORANGE-STYLE, YOU WILL BE HERE FOR SIX HOURS OF DANCING!

Clyde.jpgTouchy, touchy, Julie. I'll leave Baldo out of it, that's fine. But I'm still calling Twitch to win. Half out of cheeky disrespect for the show, half out of having seen him dance two or three times, this season.

Interesting prediction, Clyde...but even though you've already named who you think will win, you still have to stay here and watch the entire show with us!

Clyde.jpgSeriously? Ugh. I hoped that would've been enough - I even tried firing Julie up about that troll David Cook...

I hate David Cook as much as you do, like any reasonable person who likes music that doesn't suck. You know that. But, sorry...you're stuck here.

Hey! You knock it off, too!

Ha ha. Couldn't resist. But, sorry, Clyde...you're stuck here with us for the ENTIRE show.

Clyde.jpgIT'S JUST SO...LONG! I mean, come on! I was in Maui, for crying out loud! MAUI, Daph!

Boo hoo hoo. Just relax and watch the show, Collins! And stop calling me "Daph!"

DancerX.jpgDancer X also believes Clyde is acting like a crybaby!

Yeah? Well...I'm with my dogg, Clyde! I'm sorry, lovely ladies...but I have TRIED to watch this show a few times this summer to help you out...and it is probably the worst thing ever.

Artie! We're about to start the big finale!

Clyde.jpgWhy do we always come here?

I guess we'll never know...

Artie%20and%20Clyde.jpgIt's like a kind of TORTURE to have to watch this show!

Very funny, Muppets. Now, this is the LAST night of dancing...so, let's just watch and have fun! Courtney and Twitch are first up doing a Hip Hop routine.

BlueSwoosh.jpg

The beginning was fun and I liked it, but they had kind of a rough ending.

This is the first time these two have danced together, and they make a great couple, they seem to work so well together. They had a lot of fun with that one. Twitch makes me laugh, and as we discovered last week, Courtney is a pro at beating up her male partners. So great way to start out the night!

Clyde.jpgBeating up on men is her forte, huh? No wonder you like her!

Keep it up, Clyde...

Guys? The dance? I will say that Twitch twirling Courtney on his head didn’t go quite as planned, but it was a good effort. I don’t agree with Mary saying it was a knock out performance, but it was def good.

DancerX.jpgAnother abusive relationship story. Dancer X is unsure what this says about American Dance that we have to suffer through so many of these. The staccato movements suit Twitch well, although Dancer X suspects he is better than this. It did not seem to have enough of a challenge for Twitch. And yes, Julie, the spin-Courtney-on-Twitch’s-head thing looked clumsy.

Tango.jpgThey got a bit tired in the end but really good performance.

Clyde.jpgI'd like to bring up that, while these dances are complex and they're all over the stage, they always seem really winded after routines. Shouldn't they have a LITTLE better stamina than that? I'm asking this honestly, as a non-dancer. For "professional" dancers, they look like they're suckin' a lot of wind after these dances...

Well, I think they all just came into the finale exhausted! I mean, two of them were taken to the hospital for exhaustion, Clyde...and those routines are PACKED with tough tricks...you'd be winded, too!

Clyde.jpgI know I would, Jules, but I'm not a professional dancer! Just saying, is all. Anyway, Spastic dance moves with some play acting and a fake ball punch. Meh. Kind of sloppy at the end, too. Not good.

I thought it was kinda' cool, but pretty sloppy. Especially for the finale. It was pretty sweet when Courtney walked on Twitch, though. That was the highlight for me. Dogg.

BlueSwoosh.jpg

Katee and Joshua are next with a Wade Robson choreographed Lyrical piece. We know that Katee and Joshua are a great pair, we have seen it all season...

...and that was another good one for them! I haven’t seen a better connection between two couples this season.

Katee and Joshua are my fav couple to see together, and I couldn’t wait to see them dance a number choreographed by Wade to a John Mayer song. That was an amazing performance; I wouldn’t be surprised if this is my favorite dance of the night! Unlike Twitch and Courtney’s dance, I totally believed their emotions. It didn’t feel faked or over the top, it was just perfect. I loved the freezes at the beginning, and their faces throughout the routine, there were just so many little moves that just drew you in.

Tango.jpgWow...I think they sold me in this piece, great performance.

DancerX.jpgDancer X hopes we’re getting the weak stuff out of the way tonight. Although this was definitely a better performance than the comic-abuse of Twitch and Courtney’s number, it still seemed slow and easy. There was too much acting and not enough impressive stunt work. These are warmup dances. And by this point in the competition, if Dancer X saw Katee on the street without a nightie on, Dancer X would probably not even recognize her.

Yo, somebody turn the lights on! I couldn't even SEE that! From what I could tell, they were a little better than the first pair. I guess. If you wanna' call that better.

Clyde.jpgI think you just did. I get what they were going for...but I didn't like it at all. It was just weird to me. Next.

BlueSwoosh.jpg

Courtney and Katee are partnered up for the first time to do a Broadway routine from Tyce Diorio.

They enjoyed themselves with that one, but how could you not with a Tyce Broadway number. I think that Nigel playing favorites with Katee was a little jerky. I thought Courtney was just lovely, as was Katee.

Seeing the girls dance together really shows you the differences between the two. I think Katee is the better dancer, technically, but Courtney really knows how to turn it on for the camera in a Broadway number. I’m not sure what makes for a better performance, but I really enjoyed the pairing!

DancerX.jpgAh, very interesting. “The Trolley Song” is about the cheesiest piece of crap song one would ever hear, but with the lyrics removed and the annoying Broadway story-for-simpletons stricken, we can actually see a fun, fast, entertaining dance. And bonus, it’s not about one person beating the other! Good use of props, good display of synchronized choreography! Dancer X approves.

Tango.jpgA nice number, my style of dresses!

Clyde.jpgYou...uh...you would look nice in one of those, Tango.

Tango.jpgWhat? What's that supposed to...wait, that's not how I meant it at all!

Clyde.jpgRelax, old man. Just joking around with you, don't get all cop-ish.

Tango.jpgA joke, eh? I see. Well, never let it be said that Sgt. Tango doesn't enjoy a bit of humor, once in a while...

Parasols, dogg? Yeah!!! That's what I'm talkin' about! That was HOT! Finally, a dance that's USEFUL to the fans - we can finally put the two chicks side by side and compare their skills, or somethin' like that. Which one's supposed to be better? I think the yellow one did a little better. She was snappier and more fluid compared to Katee.

Clyde.jpgI'm with Artie. Katee seemed a bit stiff, somehow. Courtney looked right at home with this cheeseball style of dance. I think that may be why I don't really like her, to be honest. Clearly, she's big on charisma...so, the energetic style worked for her. It still felt like something you'd see at a high school talent show, though.

So does EVERYTHING we see on this stage, dogg.

Clyde.jpgIt all just feels so hokey to me, I can't take it seriously. And BROAD-FREAKING-WAY doesn't help.

You guys are terrible! That dance was fun!

Clyde.jpgWell, sure. But if this were a Fun Contest, I might have a different reaction. As a DANCE contest, however, I think this was just a bit too goofy to really be good.

BlueSwoosh.jpg

Now the boys are up dancing together to Tchaikovsky’s "The Nutcracher Suite." Should be...interesting?

Wow, that was so much more fun than I was expecting! Joshua’s height on those jumps was amazing! Twitch had some crazy knee work, and the strength for the moves they did together was fantastic! The competitiveness between them is great, and really showed through. I loved it, and I love these two.

Can I first just remind everyone by saying these two guys are HIP-HOP dancers?!! That was astonishing!; That style of dance is so energetic, and so much fun to watch, and then they gave it to two guys who are so entertaining and so amusing. It worked out so well! It was one of my favorites from this season.

Clyde.jpgRight, right. Calm down, Daph. You sound like your head's about to pop.

Well, what did YOU think of it?! Seriously, you're not a fan of this show or of dancers in general...

Clyde.jpgIs that obvious? Oh, I'm so sorry.

What did you think of that dance? I mean, you have to have felt SOMETHING while watching that!

She's right, Clyde. I mean, look how happy that dance made Daphne and me! Didn't you feel even a LITTLE bit of joy watching it?

Girls, you know I love you both dearly. But this is not my Revelation Moment, where I come around and start liking this show. They were impressive, sure...but was I jumping out of my seat? No. I mean, is it just me, or did Twitch not actually DO anything?

No, it's not just you. I think Joshua took advantage of his athleticism over Twitch, and totally just showed him up!

Holy crap...Julie, I think they're actually talking about the DANCE WE JUST WATCHED!

Twitch never really answered any of the challenges. He didn't try to out-jump or out-spin Joshua. He was all attitude, sure...but if this was an attitude competition, I think I'd have enjoyed the entire series a lot more. It WAS funny to see these guys dancing to this song, though.

I thought it was a really cool idea. I don't know if the choreographer didn't give Twitch as much to do as Joshua because he couldn't HANDLE it, or what. It could've been one of the coolest dances of the season if they'd both shown off their stuff equally. As it is, I think Joshua came out ahead on that one.

DancerX.jpgArtie, Clyde...your inability to recognize great dance when you see it saddens Dancer X! How wildly fun! They took a classic folk, as distinct to Russian culture as borscht, and turned it into a modern Top That dance-off. Positively brilliant. These same-sex pairings are so fresh and different that Dancer X has to wonder why we haven’t done more of these, this season. Dancer X suspects Twitch muffed the ending, as his final pose didn’t happen until after the music stopped. Perhaps that was intentional, but it looked lousy. -1 for Twitch.

Tango.jpgWell, watching these two battle it out, I thought I might have to break those two up! Take it outside, fellows!

BlueSwoosh.jpg

Twitch is back to dance with Katee in a Foxtrot. I’m usually not a big fan of the Foxtrot, but this was very entertaining. These are my two favorites to win, so naturally I loved them dancing together. Twitch holding Katee up in that lift was so beautiful, and his strength was impressive. Neither one of them are ballroom dancers, but you could have fooled anyone with this performance.

DancerX.jpgDancer X was totally right about the first half of the show being easy and sucky. That dance went from elegant to dangerous and back again. That was a performance to remember, with a nice mix of flowy ballroom and blowsy romance.

Katee, of course, was flawless. Twitch...he’s a hip hop dancer! He was so smooth and debonair during that number. Let me just say that I would love to hit the floor with that guy! He is amazing. That was the best foxtrot I have seen this season.

Clyde.jpgThe way you girls drool over these guys...I mean, really.

Jealous much, Clyde?

Tango.jpgSettle down. No one's hitting the floor with anyone on MY watch. That was a beautiful dance! Twitch might have stolen Katee away. Some domestic disputes going on with our couples, tonight!

Clyde.jpgPretty smooth, stylish...I was cool with this one. Glad Twitch could be part of a dance I enjoyed, tonight, after having chosen him to win, already. Thanks for showing up halfway through the show, buddy.

I'm pretty sure he's one of the ones that passed out. It seems like he's laid-back this evening...even during this one, during which he did well. I was cool with that Foxtrot. They both looked pretty good.

Clyde.jpgMaybe they took some tough stuff - like those high jumps, earlier - out of Twitch's dances tonight...because he might fall over the die. He seems a bit off, possibly due to health concerns. It's all good, he's got that sunglasses shirt, so I still say he'll win it all. He's got a name you'll remember. I mean, who will remember a "Courtney" or a "Joshua" a year from now?

I think Joshua is a very memorable name, dogg. It's a great name.

Clyde.jpgMeh. I dunno'.

BlueSwoosh.jpg

Courtney and Joshua are doing the Jive next. I think that was the first time this season that we’ve seen a routine move that fast and they seemed to do it with absolutely no problems, and no mistakes. I really enjoyed that one as well. And I think Nigel was once again a bit hard on the two of them. I thought they were fabulous.

Well, now I think we know who had to be hospitalized for exhaustion. I’m out of breath just watching them! They had sooo many crazy tricks and fancy footwork, that was great! Nigel was way too harsh with his critiques of the two of them, I understand his wanting to give them his opinion, but they really did do a great job in a very difficult routine...after dancing an entire night of dancing to boot.

Tango.jpgI'm going to have to issue a speeding ticket for this one! You were going pretty fast there, Courtney and Joshua. What's that? Talking back to Sgt. Tango?! You want two citations? Don't push me!

PSSSST...who's he talking to?

Clyde.jpgThe television. Just stay calm and don't make eye contact...

DancerX.jpgThis is the only thing that can save Courtney: fast, energetic, highly intricate dancing. Well done, you’ve kept yourself in the competition. Now, if you could phone Brian Setzer and tell him to stop trying to bring swing back, Dancer X would vote for you. Again, Dancer X suspects the ending was botched. Maybe Joshua was supposed to kill himself at the end, or else it was an accident and he covered it up well? Either way shows a man in control of his performance, even when it goes awry.

Clyde.jpgMan, they look exhausted. All of them look tired, tonight. Understandable, I guess...but, yeah, it was an energetic dance by two dancers who are running on fumes.

I disagree!

Clyde.jpgReally?

Naaah, just kidding. It looked ok...I didn't notice the fatigue, so I guess...maybe I kinda' DO disagree?

Clyde.jpgWow.

Yeah. Sorry, dogg.

Clyde.jpgNo, no, it's fine. Be your own man and all.

I thought they looked fine.

Clyde.jpgThat’s good. I'm glad you did. I...uh...I want you to enjoy yourself. As much as possible during this show.

Katee's totally fine.

Clyde.jpgThat wasn't Katee.

Oh. Well, they're both...pretty hot.

Clyde.jpgYeah.

What do you think Dancer X?

DancerX.jpgDancer X hates you both. I disapprove of this discourse greatly. BACK TO THE DANCE! FOCUS ON THE DANCE!

Clyde.jpgIt was okay.

I think they danced like...people who can dance.

Clyde.jpgOnly tired.

BlueSwoosh.jpg

FINAL GROUP PERFORMANCE: The Top 4 end the show with one last dance!

The final four closed out the night with a Mia Michaels contemporary piece.

I can not believe after going through everything they have tonight, they have one last routine with the four of them!

I really think all four of these dancers are ready for this competition to be over so they can take a day and just sleep. And that final number was amazing, and a great way to close out this competition.

Haha...it was perfect that the guys went shirtless for their last performance. Seeing the four of them dance together was a great way to end the night. And, Daphne, I have a feeling that even with all the anxiety, they are gonna sleep like ROCKS tonight!

Tango.jpgMia certainly pushed them really hard. I wonder if she'll put two of them in the hospital this week?

Hee hee...hopefully they don't make a habit out of hospitalizing exhausted SYTYCD contestants, Sarge!

DancerX.jpgA bit flat for Dancer X’s tastes. While the stuntwork was much appreciated, there was too much galloping. It was like outtakes from Toy Story 2, you know, where the horse hilariously trots out of frame and Tom Hanks quips something although you know it’s not an actual quip because these are CG characters and therefore the supposed outtake was in fact planned out over a three day render session. And then they all had a shared group spasm at the end? Dancer X will just chalk this up everyone being entirely too shagged out from the good bits in the middle.

Clyde.jpgI wasn't into that at all. Not my style, really didn't much enjoy that. Sorry.

They didn't look together at all. Highlight for me was that robot down the line thing that Dancer X hated.

Clyde.jpgI'd have been happier if they just all came out and did the Peanuts kids dance. Figures this show would end on a self-important, overly-emotional note. Yuck.

What a weird way to end it, dogg. Shoulda' brought back the Bollywood dance. That was the highlight of the SEASON for me.

BlueSwoosh.jpg

SYTYCD FINAL PREDICTIONS : Who will win it all?

Best routine of the night was Twitch and Joshua’s Trepak. My personal favorite dancer of the night was Twitch, especially during his foxtrot with Katee. Katee was the best technically. Joshua had the best solo. And Courtney did so much better than what the judges (Nigel) gave her credit for and had the best energy. Who is going to win? Tough call. Last week, I said Katee. This week, my best guess would be Katee, but Joshua and Twitch have a great chance too. Unfortunately, I think Courtney may be the worst of the best. Personally, I prefer Courtney to Katee, but I don’t think many will agree with me. So I am going to say...Katee is our winner!

I agree with Daphne. Katee remains my favorite to win. I think she really deserves it with her technique. I still wouldn’t be surprised if Twitch pulled off the win, he has the best personality and amazing skills. Joshua is my third to win, his strength and height on the jumps still impresses me. I’m not sure Courtney could win this thing, but her personality really shines where others fall short.

Tango.jpgI believe that Katee will win! Her dancing skills exceed all those others. A star in Harlem!

DancerX.jpgDancer X does not relish the task of choosing merely one winner, but Dancer X will give it a go. Firstly, Courtney is out. Katee SHOULD win it, but she tends to let herself get overshadowed by the gentlemen. So this becomes a battle of the Hip Hop All Stars, Twitch and Joshua. Twitch should NOT win when pitted head to head against Joshua (or Katee), but, as Clyde has pointed out, he has leveraged his brand better, and he is taller. Dancer X says Katee should win, but Joshua will pull out the upset in a squeaker of a tally.

Clyde.jpgI'm sticking with Twitch because that's just my thing. I say something, then stick with it.

On the other hand, MY thing is say something and NOT sticking with it. Originally, I said I thought Twitch would win...and, although I still WANT him to win because he's a strong dancer with a cool personality and not a lot of formal training, I don't think he put in his best performances, tonight. So, my prediction is...NOT TWITCH! Ha ha...no, seriously. I'm gonna' go with Joshua! Why not? Solid performances all night and all season.

We have a pretty wide range of predictions, here...which just shows you how hard it is to pick just one winner out of this group!

Like I said at the top of the column, I would be happy if any of these dancers win. What an amazing season this was! Join us tomorrow, right here on Electric Blogaloo, for our So You Think You Can Dance? Season Finale Results Show Commentary Extravaganza!

Clyde.jpgI know, I was a shocked as you! Didn't see that coming, did you Queen of All Reality?

"Queen of All Reality" has a nice ring to it! Thank you, Clyde.

Clyde.jpgYou'll have to ask Dancer X if you can have his title before you start using it all the time.

OOOOOOOH! Sick burn!

Woah!

DancerX.jpgNot funny, Mr. Collins. Dancer X does not approve of your immature gender-based insults...nor do I approve of your drab fashion sense! Simon Cowell called...he wants his t-shirt back!

Zing!

OH, NO HE DI'ENT!

Clyde.jpgYou listen to me, you bloated flamingo --

Tango.jpgOK...OK...that's enough. Break it up or I'll bust you up!

Wow! Tensions are running high, so let's end this column! See you tomorrow with the results...and the winner of SYTYCD Season 4!

Two of Four of the So You Think You Can Dance Finalists Collapsed During Saturday Rehearsals.

A pair of So You Think You Can Dance finalists reportedly took the expression "dance 'til you drop" a little too literally.

Two of So You Think You Can Dance's Top 4 fourth-season finalists reportedly collapsed during Saturday rehearsals and were subsequently rushed to nearby Cedars Sinai Hospital, People reported Monday.

"The kids are completely dehydrated -- two of them," So You Think You Can Dance judge Mary Murphy told People. "I'm sure they're doing a lot of blood work to see if there's anything else."

top4.jpgTwo of So You Think You Can Dance's Top 4 fourth-season finalists reportedly collapsed during Saturday rehearsals and were subsequently rushed to nearby Cedars Sinai Hospital, People reported Monday.

"The kids are completely dehydrated -- two of them," So You Think You Can Dance judge Mary Murphy told People. "I'm sure they're doing a lot of blood work to see if there's anything else."

Stephen "Twitch" Boss, Katee Shean, Courtney Galiano and Joshua Allen comprise So You Think You Can Dance's Top 4, however People reported Fox representatives declined comment and did not release the identities of which two were hospitalized.

The two hospitalized dancers have since been released, a source close to the show told People.

Out of fairness for the finalists, Murphy explained that there were "no more rehearsals" on Saturday after the hospitalization and added "all rehearsals were called off" on Sunday.

"The other two [dancers] could not rehearse as well, and so hopefully everybody is going to be in the same boat," Murphy told People. "Hopefully everybody will be refreshed by having a full day off."

In addition, Murphy said the Top 4 finalists have been rehearsing 10 to 12 hours a day in anticipation of So You Think You Can Dance's two-night fourth-season finale.

"They want it so bad," Murphy told People. "So they keep pushing themselves and pushing themselves and not letting anybody know that, 'Hey, I'm running on empty,' and then it catches up on them and then they collapse."

SYTYCD Blog #21: We Have Our Top 4 Finalists

SYTYCD Blog

We are down to the top four and on our way to the Season Finale. The show started off with a Mandy Moore choreographed group number, and performances by Lady GaGa and a 6 year old dancing phenomenon by the name of Lil' Demon. Also news from guest judge Adam Shankman, the winner will be receiving a dancing role in an upcoming movie being produced by Shankman himself. At the end of the show Mark and Chelsie were sent home. This means our top 4 dancers competing in next week finale are Twitch, Joshua, Courtney, and Katee.

Well, I am happy with tonight’s results. And I was definitely reassured in my choice of Courtney over Chelsie tonight after the group number. Chelsie was struggling to do some of those movie, where Courtney was doing the dance effortlessly. I have stated that in the couple dances Chelsie has been better than Courtney throughout the season, but she was terrible with the solos. And we were looking for the best “dancer”, not the best “group dancer”. So I do believe that Courtney was the best choice. It is sad to see Chelsie go, because she was a joy to watch, and very talented. I think she has a bright future ahead of her. As for the loss of Mark, he is also a great dancer, but as I said yesterday, his time was up two weeks ago. Finally, wasn’t that Lil’ Demon so cute? Absolutely adorable, and he’s got some great moves. That is a star in the making right there. So next week is the finale, and I am ready for it! It is going to be one heck of a show.

The group dance at the beginning had some really nice partnering moves that I enjoyed and Lil’ Demon was pretty cool for a six year old kid, but Lady GaGa looked like a freaky reject from the eighties. Her mic kind of sucked, but I don’t think I would have enjoyed the song even with a good microphone. It was like a train wreck that you just couldn’t look away though.

I was not surprised to see Katee and Joshua picked first as part of the final four. They had such an amazing night last night, I would have been surprised to see either leave the competition. As I said yesterday, Courtney and Chelsie were neck and neck, I stand by my call that Chelsie is the better dancer of the two, but I am glad to see Courtney in the finale-she was an early favorite for me. If Twitch had been voted off I think I would have quit the show immediately, after Will left, he’s my favorite guy. I like Mark, but I think even he knew that he was just a little too weird to be America’s favorite dancer. My vote for the winner of the competition now sits with Katee, I’m not sure if she’s the most popular dancer, but I think she has the most talent of the people that are left. I think Twitch however is the most popular, so he could very well win it too.

DancerX.jpgAs Dancer X stated, Courtney and Mark were the weak pairing of the night… Dance #1 was boring and Dance #2 was stupid. Effectively, they went from unmemorable to obnoxious, but Courtney’s past performances with Gev kept her alive. Perhaps undeservedly, although Dancer X can’t think of a single thing that Chelsie did last night so Dancer X has no issues with her unceremonious exit. Dancer X had a crazy Wednesday night after the show, but for unrelated reasons.

As for Mark, he’s been a character, and generally enjoyable to watch, but his brand of silliness clearly does not resonate with America when compared to the super-tight, high-energy moves of Twitch and Joshua.

Dancer X is very excited for next week’s finale. Dancer X calls it: the final two will not include Courtney. She has been overshadowed by the other three. Twitch has been floating along on post-Twitchington goodwill, and his weird stunting (gold teeth?!?) this week hurt him a bit… leaving Katee and Joshua to rise to the top. Although wait for the inevitable SWITCHEROO as Katee picks Twitch from the random partner hat.

Dancer X predicts L’il Demon FTW.
