Pop Icon Mariah Carey To Perform At Teen Choice 2008 Monday, August 4, On FOX

Sophia Bush, Josh Holloway, Ryan Sheckler and Steve Carell to Appear

Multi-platinum artist Mariah Carey is set to perform her new single “I’ll Be Lovin’ You Long Time” at TEEN CHOICE 2008. Hosted by Miley Cyrus, TEEN CHOICE celebrates the hottest teen icons in film, television, music, sports and fashion. The coolest stars will receive coveted Teen Choice surfboard awards in categories such as Choice Male Hottie and Choice Hook-Up when TEEN CHOICE 2008 airs Monday, Aug. 4 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Fans ages 13-19 can vote once each day for their favorite TEEN CHOICE 2008 nominees at www.TeenChoiceAwards.com.

COUNTDOWN TO 2008 WITH CAT DEELEY

Join the celebration live from New York City’s Times Square as Cat Deeley counts down to 2008 on NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE airing Monday, Dec. 31 (11:00 PM) on FOX43.

Deeley, reprising her role as host, will take a look back at the year’s most memorable moments in pop culture and introduce live performances by some of the year’s hottest musical artists. During the broadcast, TALKSHOW host Spike Feresten will report from the heart of Times Square to conduct his signature “man-on-the-street” interviews with partygoers. As 2007 comes to a close, Deeley and Feresten will bring in the New Year as the world-famous New Year’s Eve ball makes its descent into Times Square.

KELLY CLARKSON AND AVRIL LAVIGNE SET TO PERFORM ON TEEN CHOICE 2007 LIVE SUNDAY, AUGUST 26, ON FOX

Two-time Grammy Award winner Kelly Clarkson and punk-pop dynamo Avril Lavigne are set to perform on TEEN CHOICE 2007 Sunday, Aug. 26 from 8:00-10:00 PM live on FOX. Clarkson will perform the emotionally charged single “Never Again” and Lavigne will sing her infectious hit “Girlfriend." As previously announced, Hilary Duff and Nick Cannon will co-host the ninth annual special, where the coolest stars will receive coveted Teen Choice Surfboard awards.

Teen Queen Hilary Duff and actor/comedian Nick Cannon are teaming up to host TEEN CHOICE 2007 Sunday, Aug. 26th from 8:00-10:00 PM live on FOX. The ninth annual special will celebrate the hottest teen icons who made waves this year in film, television, music, sports and fashion.

Celebrities scheduled to appear at TEEN CHOICE 2007 include Jessica Alba (“Fantastic Four”), Megan Fox (“Transformers”), Emmy Rossum (“The Phantom of the Opera”), Lauren Conrad (“The Hills”), Miley Cyrus (“Hannah Montana”), Ashlee Simpson (“Autobiography”), Anna Paquin (“X-Men”), Dane Cook (“Good Luck Chuck”), Jared Padalecki (“Supernatural”) and Taylor Kitsch (“Friday Night Lights”). Other performers and presenters will be announced soon.
