Oh Friday, you never come too soon. This weekend is shaping up to be incredibly interesting as I will be attending the Supernatural convention with the CW Source's Jackie O and Sarah. Now, the convention isn't all about Supernatural, apparently it's a tip of the hat to Smallville, Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer as well. For those of you who haven't caught Supernatural, here's a little taste:
Truth be told, I am a million and three times more likely to watch Beauty and the Geek (and do I!) than I am any of the shows listed above. But, I have to say, I am really excited to go to this thing. I can only imagine that the superfans of the show are going to be amazing to experience, particularly when they see their favorite stars in person. I'm kind of hoping it turns into something like this. I mean, let's talk about a few things here. First of all, I would hardly say that this fan was "crazed". Secondly, who does that at an Extreme concert? Who even goes to an Extreme concert? I mean, sure I still like the song "More Than Words", but that's where my love ends. Possibly the most disturbing thing about this clip is the way in which the lead singer (rapper?) is wearing his shirt. It's not cute. Either take it all off, or keep it all on. MAKE UP YOUR MIND.
Back to the convention...there is going to be a Costume Parade on Saturday night. How fun is that? I'll be dressing as a short, chubby, blogger - be on the lookout. Or maybe I should go as Ted Danson who apparently was doing his best to look like Max Hedroom.
