More South Floridians cash in WSOP

George Guzman of Fort Lauderdale takes home third and $93,806 in event 6, the Omaha Hi-Low Split 8 or better.

There were 833 entries in the $1,500 event. Robert Mangino of Plantation finished 32nd, earning $5,200. Paul Wolfe of Boca Raton was 65th and took $3,070.

Event five was a $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em event with rebuys. There were 766 entries and they rebought 2,258 times, including Suk Sung, who reloaded 23 times. This means Sung invested $24,000 for this event. Note: The record for most re-buys was set by Daniel Negreanu back in 2006 when he reloaded an astounding 46 times, plus two reported add-ons. Negreanu was downright stingy this year, by comparison. He re-bought a considerably more modest 12 times this year, according to the casino's release.

Locals: Jamie Rosen, Boca Raton, ninth and $57,881. William Jordan, Delray Beach, 60th, $8,971.
