Gaming summit comes to Hard Rock

The fourth annual Florida Gaming Summit will be Oct. 6-7 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and will present gaming, legal, financial and tribal experts.

Session topics will include the Seminole Class III gaming compact; gaming operations and outlook for Broward County; gaming’s potential in Miami-Dade; the view from Wall Street; gaming and leisure trends; and the legislative outlook for gaming throughout Florida.

According to a press release:

“The pending launch of gaming in Miami-Dade County, the uncertain future of Class III gaming in the Seminole casinos, ongoing discussions on the subject of slot machines at all parimutuel facilities and the continuing challenge for parimutuel operators in Broward County make Florida the most compelling gaming market in the country at this time,” said Charles Anderer, Senior Events Manager, Gaming, for BNP Media, co-producer of the conference along with Spectrum Gaming Group.

The Florida Gaming Summit annually attracts hundreds of attendees, including gaming operators, regulators, investors, tribal gaming leaders, attorneys, architects, vendors and other industry-related professionals. The two-day event begins with an evening cocktail reception on Oct. 6, followed by an intensive daylong conference.
