Amy Devoe wins All in Free Poker season-ender

Amy Devoe of Fort Lauderdale outlasted more than 220 players on May 19 to win the season-ending tournament in All in Free Poker at the Isle.

She won $2,000 in buy-ins to the Florida State Poker Championship events at the Isle casino, including the $900 buy-in for the main event. She also got a $2,000 poker table from the WPT Boot Camp.

She is a regular at the Sports Den, according to All in's Bryan Oulton. For the uninitiated, bar poker is free game, played at bars. Then there are four or five big tournaments a year, for big prizes.

She defeated Greg Danver, who regularly plays at Ye Olde Falcon Pub. Danver won two entries to the Isle’s Florida State Poker Championships; each worth $330.

Ben Vassallo finished third and won a $330 tourney entry. Robert Oulton, chip leader after day one, gets a satellite for fourth as did fifth through 10th: Nancy Thomas, Frank "Lazarus" Greentree, Jean Fluery, Deb Vashon, Marc Hansen and Stacey Rosso.
