Isle adds high hand promotions
The Isle is offering a high hand promotion on weekdays from Aug. 24 through Sept. 25.
One high hand will be awarded every two hours.
Cleverly, they're awarding higher payouts for the higher-limit games.
5/10 No Limit = $400
2/5 No Limit = $300
1/2 No Limit = $200
2-4 Limit = $100
Straight 2 = $50
1-2 Limit = $25
The usual rules apply, such as both hole cards must play and the hand must be at least a full house. By my take, it's the first high hand promotion there in a long time.
Do high hand promotions get you to play at a venue?

We were at the isle last Sat for the first time in a few months. Curious, why did they remove the big video screens that hung down around the center bar? I asked a mgr, and he did not know (very pleasant and nice guy though).
And why did they close the gift shop? Thanks.

I haven't been up there for about 2 weeks; need to go.
I'll ask the managers and put it back here.
I liked those center screens too. A friend of mine remarked he liked casinos where you could sit and have a drink and not feel like you're taking up a video poker spot. Isle has that.
